The Beam Awards process is designed to make recognition meaningful and accessible for every small business. It begins when a business is nominated or chooses to enter. Each entry is reviewed by an independent judging panel who assess against clearly defined criteria.
Judges are selected for their experience, credibility and commitment to integrity. There is no crossover between entrants, sponsors and judges to ensure every decision is fair and earned on merit.
Once judging is complete, finalists are announced and celebrated through our national platforms, leading into the Fuchsia Festival weekend where the winners are revealed live at the Beam Awards Gala.
