Headshot Requirements – Please Read Before Uploading

We’re requesting a professional headshot from all Entrants.

This will be used across Beam in Business and Beam Awards marketing materials, including finalist announcements, winner features, social media and event promotions.

Submitting your photo does not confirm you as a finalist. This is part of our preparation for the Virtual Finalist Announcement Party and upcoming marketing.

What to upload

• A clear, high-quality image of you
• Head and shoulders or mid-shot (not full body)
• Neutral or clean background
• Good lighting, sharp focus
• You are the only person in the image
• Maximum upload is 2MB

What not to upload

• No selfies
• No photos holding trophies or awards
• No branded backgrounds, signage or logos
• No group photos
• No heavily filtered or edited images
• No screenshots or cropped images

Why this matters

These images will be used to position you as a finalist or winner across Beam platforms.

We need consistency, clarity and a strong visual standard so that every business is represented at the same level.

Final note

If your image doesn’t meet the above, you will be contacted and given the opportunity to submit another one.
